Tee of the Week #13: Monster in a Can
It’s along the lines of ’silly string’ — shake up a can, pop the lid and depress the trigger. PWHOOSH! You release stream after stream of canned monster.
On the drive into work one morning, I was held up on a country road while a freight train made its way out of the province. Now, being the only vehicle at a railroad crossing has it’s own zen-like qualities. 10 million tons of steel and manufactured goods gets a bit hypnotic when it sweeps by you early in the morning.
What I enjoyed were the tagged cars. I know next to nothing about the people, the culture or the geography where these spray paint applications originate. Some crazy stuff, though. All with spray paint. I suppose it’s not unlike air brush work, but see the above bit about me knowing next to nothing.
