Fooling Around with Artrage Studio Pro’s “Paint Roller”

I’ve recently upgraded from Artrage 2.5 to the new Artrage Studio Pro (thanks to a thing called a $25 coupon and another called Christmas). One of the new features in the Studio Pro version is a selection tool. While this is something most every other paint program has enjoyed from the ground up, it is new to Artrage. And so I wanted to take it for a spin.

The above image was built in Inkscape, exported as a PNG and then imported into a layer in Artrage Studio Pro. Each colour was then selected, the selection moved to a new layer and then painted. I chose to use the “Paint Roller” tool as I have a weakness for block- and screen-print images. Over all, I’m quite pleased with the final look (yes, I know, the colours are ill-chosen)
